It is essential that we continuously learn, develop and assess our impact. Our cooperation with the Utrecht University (NL) has been ongoing since 2002 and involves longitudinal research projects, which aim to evaluate our therapeutic and developmental programmes. We use our research results to improve the quality and range of our service offerings.
Improving our service provision can only be possible if we have a well trained, motivated and empowered workforce. To achieve this, we have teamed up with a group of like-minded NGOs in the disability field as well as local universities, and are currently developing a new training programme for caregivers working with children and adults with disabilities. Our ultimate goal is to obtain accreditation for a formal qualification that covers all basic areas of disability work.
